The Micro MoFa 10 is a small equipment, very flexible and also available in an Ex-Proof Version. In a laboratory setup, the Micro MoFa can be used for experimenting on new or modified recipes with the goal of scaling it up to a production scale, ideally with a Mini MoFa. Big benefit: Scaling-Up is very simple and straight forward. It is normally used for batch sizes of 10 l.
As a small-scale production setup, Micro MoFa 300 can be used for batch sizes between 120 and 300 l. It is an ideal solution for small batch production, also with predispersed components or powder e.g. pigments. In case of organic pigments, its combination with a small mill makes it to a powerful, flexible and fast production setup for tinting pastes. Due to perfect pre-dispersion, the milling time is reduced, and the product is in a narrow particle size distribution.
The Mini MoFa is the most compact paint factory in the world with a footprint of 30 m². It is capable of producing batch sizes of 500 – 5,000 l and includes the processes wetting, grinding, stabilizing and homogenizing. It has an integrated cleaning system and color change is possible within 30 minutes. Due to the high degree of automation, it can be operated by just one person, a control with a pad is possible. Options are available such as data logging functions or a vacuum unit.
The total capacity is 3,000 to/y for pigment pastes and 8,000 to/y for singular slurries or masterbatches.
The MoFa Plant is the high-end, large-scale version of the MoFa. It addresses customized plant layouts with flexible elements as well as production layouts for large scale production. It is a fully automatic process, online silo unloading, integrated cleaning system and a high-end digitalized manufacturing control system. Easy to operate, control via portable touch screen tablets is possible.
