The test equipment is primarily designed to meet the need to test cyclic atmospheric corrosion with good control accuracy.
For normal test conditions above room temperature, control accuracy is better, for relative humidity ± 3 % RH and for temperature accuracy ± 0.6 °C, in sections with constant conditions. The high-end version fulfils high-end test standards, like VCS 1027,149 (ACT I); STD 423,0014 (ACT I); VCS 1027,1449 (ACT II); Ford CEPT 00.00-L-467 (ACT II); SS-EN ISO 16701:2008; Renault ECC1 B17-2028-D; New VDA 233-102.
High capacity for parts or test panels (in combination with sample holders, up to 360 panels), unachieved precision in temperature consistency over the whole test area.
50 different pre-programmed tests can be stored in the built-in controller.
The test cycles are prepared in a standard PC and transferred to the controller with a USB-RS485 interface adapter.
The “rain solution” is automatically mixed by the test equipment itself.
A logger software on a computer can, with an Ethernet connection to the cabinet
provide current driving data as well as stored data, which can also be provided as Excel files.
Maintenance requirements for the test equipment are very low.
The climate and drying conditions are uniform on the test area of 2 m2.
